Quels sont les constituants d’une « glaçure » ou un « émail » ?

Les matières premières et leur origine
Les différents types de fondants, qui donneront des « familles d’émaux »
(ou comment obtenir un céladon, un shino ou des « gouttes d’huile » ?...)
Différences importantes entre émaux de haute et de basse température.

Les méthodes d’application : pistoler, tremper, verser, appliquer au pinceau (hakeme…), superposer et les variantes. Les aides à l’application.

La sécurité dans un atelier céramique : à quoi doit-on faire attention, pourquoi, quand et comment se protéger. La responsabilité vis-à-vis de l’environnement : le traitement des déchets.
